Student Node

Description:

Nodes are fun, interactive spaces where specific groups can gather between sessions. Located on the second floor in between the Career Fair (first floor) and session tracks (third floor), the Student Node is in an open alcove with a large balcony creating a relaxing indoor/outdoor experience. The space will feature beanbag chairs, candy machines and stickers representing different universities. Students can use these stickers to identify themselves and initiate discussions. The Student Node will be open throughout the conference for students to convene, mingle and relax.

Tech Node

Description:

Nodes are fun, interactive spaces where specific groups can gather to discuss, debate and exchange ideas between sessions. Each Tech Node will have two chairs (one technical member from the sponsor’s organization and one academic expert – sponsor may select this academic or request assistance from ABI). The Co-chairs are responsible for designing the content of their Node. Submissions are due by May 25, 2016.

Each Tech Node will be scheduled for two hours. The room will be equipped standard AV equipment, easels and post-its at each table.

Sponsors are encouraged to pick a technical topic that aligns with a GHC track and is not already covered by another Tech Node sponsor.
