The Senior Women’s Program is an invitation-only event at the Grace Hopper Celebration (GHC), focused on experienced women technologists on the cusp of C-level positions. The 2017 program will prepare attendees to rise to the next level in their successful leadership careers. The event will include a keynote session, a workshop, panel sessions, and networking opportunities.

During the keynote session, Nora DenzelVice Chair of the Anita Borg Institute Board of Trustees and member of the Board of Directors at Ericsson and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), will explain how to determine if board work is right for you. Dr. Danielle Harlan, Founder and CEO of the Center for Advancing Leadership and Human Potential, will lead a workshop entitled, “Executive Presence: Defining Your Personal Leadership Identity.” She will present tools and best practices based on her publication, “The New Alpha.”

The Senior Women’s Program will also include two panels—Navigating to the Next Level and Business Insiders Women Technologists—where experts will offer inspirational stories of their own journeys as well as specific advice for senior technologists.

Invited attendees will have the chance to connect with other rising female executives during a light lunch and networking session.

PROGRAM ELEMENTS

Panels: Experts from a variety of organizations convey their experiences and offer insights into how to build a portfolio of talents worthy of a C-suite promotion.

Workshop: Dr. Danielle Harlan will facilitate this senior-level leadership workshop where you will learn to recognize and harness your unique strengths in order to enhance your influence, impact, and personal fulfillment.

Networking Session: Opportunities to connect with other up-and-coming female executives.
