Congratulations on being a GHC 17 Hopper! We are excited to work alongside you to make this year’s conference a success. Learn more about your training and assignments below.
All Hoppers must attend orientation on Tuesday evening. Please plan your travel accordingly, and make sure to pick up your badge before coming to orientation.
Tuesday, October 3, 2017
6 – 7 p.m. ET
Orange County Convention Center, Room TBD
What will you be doing at GHC? Hoppers help us with such tasks as mic running, crowd control, check-in tables, room monitoring, and much more. We will inform all GHC 17 Hoppers of their specific assignments at the orientation meeting on October 3, 2017.
Each Hopper will be assigned two or three shifts for a total of eight non-consecutive hours spread over the three days of the conference. We do our best to assign tasks based on the availability you gave when completing your application. Given the magnitude and complexity of the conference, it will not be possible to change your assignments once we give them to you. We ask that you please plan your schedule accordingly so you can fulfill your assignments.
For their efforts on behalf of GHC, Hoppers receive complimentary registration. Hoppers pay for their own airfare, lodging, meals, and other expenses.
