Give attendees a helping hand by sponsoring the conference tote bag. Emblazoned with all three sponsor logos and the conference logo, each attendee will have a convenient way to carry conference materials. The bag is ripstop nylon, water resistant, and machine washable. It is 26 x 16 x 6 ” and folds into a sewn-on pouch (not shown). Child Care and Nursing Mothers’ Room – Two at $20,000 each

This program based social event allows women of color the chance to network, connect with strong role models, and celebrate their accomplishments. We will focus on raising awareness about the intersectionality of gender and race/culture. This program is in partnership with CMD-IT and Underrepresented Women in Computing.

Women of Color include anyone identifying themselves as someone of color (Black/African American, Hispanic/Latina, Native American, Asians). We also encourage those with disabilities to attend as discussion will be broadly about underrepresented women in computing.

The Student Opportunity Lab is an interactive session where attendees can seek personalized advice regarding their professional or academic endeavors. We host this lab  in a large room where students can float between tables of ten, each with a defined topic and specified speaker. These speakers will hold “mini sessions” which last for 20 minutes and usually include a presentation and a Q&A. For more about this program, read the description for our call for participation.
