Justine Clarke

Justine Clarke credits her interest in computers to when she was younger and was told that computer careers were more suited for boys. The computer programmer, Chloe, from the TV show SmallVille inspired her to overcome the status quo and learn code. From this foundation, Justine’s knowledge of programming languages now spans JAVA, C++ and some Ruby. Other than coding, Justine tutors for Greencastle Middle helping children build their inner creativity. She attends DePauw University and is Vice President of her campus ACM chapter.

“The fact that an abstract idea can be developed into a concrete product using code leaves me in awe. I chose to stick with this field because I enjoy working without limits and that is what coding and CS allows me to do.”
