“Women in computing like in many other professions are underrepresented and often face stereotypes and gender bias. This situation is further aggravated for women of color. Attending the Grace Hopper Celebration will give me an opportunity to meet fellow women scientists in the area of computing, to know the challenges faced by them in their careers, and to get inspired on how they overcame them so to evolve into a holistic researcher and conscious individual.”
