2014 Scholars

Sharon Lo

Sharon is a junior at Brown University and is studying computer science. Having grown up in the Bay Area, she’s passionate about entrepreneurship and combining her interests in design and technology. This past summer, she interned at Microsoft with the Cloud & Enterprise division, igniting her interest in cloud computing and the visualization of big data. In her spare time, you’ll find her planning her school hackathon, Hack@Brown, as well as blogging and travelling.

“Since I started programming, I have never looked back, relishing in the world of computer science. I’ve made it a point to myself to willingly put myself out there to learn and be part of different applications of computer science. As a curious learner, I’ve always derived joy from understanding new ways to view problems and the world around me.”
